I am a photographer based in Portland, Oregon and photography is my passion. If I had to tell you which part of it is my favorite I couldn’t. I love watching facial expressions, finding different angles and taking photographs while making people laugh. I love discovering nature and observing wildlife. I equally enjoy editing photographs and the metamorphosis of a single photo as it turns into my vision. Even just looking at photographs brings me joy. Consequently, seeing appreciation on client’s face when I deliver the final product is the ultimate reward for the quality of my work.
Portrait
A well done portrait captures personality and soul of the subject. I offer solo and group sessions as well as corporate headshots. I enjoy outdoor shoots as there is no shortage of scenery in the beautiful Pacific Northwest as well as indoor portraits when needed for an event or special occasion. Getting to know people I photograph helps me capture the mood and spirit of that perfect moment.

Wildlife
Photographing wildlife is often being in the right place at the right time. Most of the truly wild animals avoid people and it can be challenging to capture their natural beauty while maintaining safe distance. Yet the world of animals is like a magnet, the more you try it, the more you are drawn to it. Wildlife photography is an incredibly rewarding experience.

Travel
Having opportunity to travel is a blessing. Exploring unfamiliar cultures and meeting people is an eye and mind opening experience. It allows to practice and develop deep love and respect of all human beings, finding differences and similarities across land, culture, religion and race. I believe if we were all to travel rather than be tourists, the world would be a better and richer place.

Pacific Northwest
Living in Pacific Northwest means being surrounded by stunning beauty of nature that changes every few miles: from ocean cliffs to the volcanic peaks, deserts to rainforests and waterfalls and everything in between (pair it with a good wine!). It is truly a photographer’s paradise; it is mine. I often grab my camera and drive to discover new hidden caves, bridges or lakes and find an inspiration. Being able to capture what is in front of me is an incredible way to express myself and appreciate the beauty around me.
Photo Sessions
Whether an event or a solo shoot, I do my best to keep my subjects at ease and capture those special moments to treasure. Photographing people is what first attracted me to the camera many years ago and gave me a nick name of Oli-Paparazzi because I never parted with my camera. Over the years it developed into passion. I believe human faces tell stories of joy, happiness and pain and eyes are the most expressive. I draw a connection with those I photograph, even if we don’t speak the same language.
